Concealed Carry Deployment

This MCOLES approved training program will provide the basic knowledge and skills to effectively carry and deploy a handgun from concealment. Emphasis is based on safety, equipment selection, concealment techniques and methods to efficiently draw your pistol from concealment. We will focus on the fundamentals of shooting to increase your speed, accuracy, competence and confidence with your pistol.

Participants will work multiple repetitions of dry and live fire drills during this training. We will also cover common garment issues with concealment, supporting equipment and injured shooter considerations.

All students must be confident in the safe handling of firearms and basic handgun techniques as this is a high pace program.

Inside the waistband holsters must have a non-collapsible opening.  Blackhawk SERPA holsters and similar trigger finger actuated holsters are not permitted in this program. All holsters must be mounted between the 3 and 9 o’clock positions on an adequate belt. Appendix is preferred for efficiency. No ankle, pocket, shoulder or bag holsters permitted in this program.

Full size or compact pistols that hold a minimum of 10 rounds are required, preferably with an RDS and a minimum of three magazines. All students must provide their own eye and ear protection and wear the clothing they would typically carry concealed from. Please make sure your holster and magazine carrier are in good working order prior to the program. Please reach out for equipment recommendations if needed. Minimum ammunition count is 500 rounds.
